Pastor Cal Hampton was saved by the grace of God and baptized at FBC Clarksville as a nine year old boy while growing up in Clarksville Tennessee. He was called into full time ministry in July of 1993 as a 36 year old man and was licensed and ordained at FBC Clarksville.
During the years of 1997-2016 Pastor Cal served as lead pastor at Green River Baptist Church. Under his leadership the church grew exponentially. The Church experienced 300% increase in worship attendance and 240% growth in Sunday School. Budget and Missions giving increased four fold under His leadership. Green River gives 10% of its un-designated receipts to the Cooperative Program. Green River led Indian Creek Baptist Associations in baptisms 17 out of the 18 years of his pastorate.

In January of 2017 Pastor Cal was called to serve as Senior Associate Pastor of Preaching and Evangelism at FBC Clarksville until his departure in February of 2018.
On February 25, 2018, Pastor Cal became the Founding Pastor of 2nd Mile Church: A Southern Baptist Fellowship.
He has preached over 100 revivals and crusades in 7 states and 4 countries. Pastor Calhas served on several committees and boards of the SBC, TBC, and Indian Creek Baptist Association and is currently serving as the Chairman of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board..
Pastor Cal has earned graduate degrees from Austin Peay State University and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville Ky.
Pastor Cal is married to Diana Stokes Hampton of Clarksville. They have two adult daughters, a 12 year old son (glory to God), and three spirit filled grand-children.
